Arrived on site to perform heating tune up on a American standard. Client stated no issues and all is good. She been having remodel going on in home and stated she wee be replacing once it’s all done. Cycled and is good. Filter is dusty due to remodel. Blower assembly dusty. Motor is good and in range. Inducer motor is in range. Temperature rise is heating home good. All safety switches are operational. Drain lines are clear at this time but advised are Dusty from past years. No protection on unit and recommended. Cycled unit and unit is operating. Went over how unit is running client is aware at this time. Unit is operational upon departure

Arrived on site to perform diagnostic. Homeowner states that unit is not cooling. It’ll run for a couple minutes and then shut off, then kick back on and continue that cycle. They turned it off last night and this morning it ran for a longer period but eventually shut off again. Cycled system for cooling. Unit came on normally. After a couple minutes noticed that unit had shut off, and that thermostat screen was blank. Went into attic to check drains. Found condensation switch had tripped, which caused unit to turn off. Drain is moving super slow, which is causing water to back up and trip the switch. With approval, went ahead and cleared drain line up top as well as underneath the sink. Drain line was extremely clogged up with dirt and debris. Tested proper drainage and unit is draining correctly. Homeowner will be replacing filter as he does not know where he has them at. Definitely recommend adding air purification to the system as it is very obvious that this area receives a lot
