fast, friendly service. Too bad that the 3M filter I got at Lowe's that said it was for Lenox and the right size did not fit, but I was able to buy the one that did
Couldn’t ask for better service
Sherre - Oceanside, CA
Shane is highly knowledgeable, prompt, friendly, efficient mini-split system serviceman. He cleaned out extra mud I was unaware of in my outside system, checked coolant pressure. He calculated each interior unit’s temperature performance, cleaned all of the filters, all while reporting what he found as he went along. I love that the unit efficiencies will be monitored over time as a measurand of any aging issues. Thank you, Shane

I wouldn’t trust this company. The technician connected a device that measured the temperature of the compressor coolant, however that’s all he did. He did not use a multimeter, nor did he provide any recommendations on what he thought was the problem and why my condenser was tripping my circuit breaker. He gave me some very costly options in which the first started at $800 for a simple topping off of refrigerant fluid. After trial and error And a little bit of research I was able to narrow it down to the capacitor that’s inside of my unit. This is $100 part would’ve been an easy replacement. However he chose to take the hundred dollars that I had to pay him just for showing up and leave.
HVAC service Perfection!
Sherry - Oceanside, CA
Shane was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained how he would service the Minisplit HVAC systems; examined and cleaned the insides and outsides carefully; took photos before and after; showed me the photos explaining the units’ conditions, what my quality of air was inside the house, and what he looked for to catch any degradation now and in future; caught that there was no system surge protection, and installed a new one. Since to double my system’s warranty I need to have qualified technician servicing regularly, I joined the Cool Solutions monthly payment plan and now they call me to schedule. This service call and the install was covered, and I got 20% off the surge protector! Perfect!
A very pleasant and efficient your man. A very thorough service on the A/C . Happy with the result . Thank you

Nice young man... did a thorough job
When I arrived this time condenser unit wasn’t on. I checked 240v (good), but when I checked my 24 v I had no power at all. I went straight up to attic and found a drain pan full of water. That was killing power to outdoor unit. I used vacuum and sucked out all water I could. Then I got a bucket and filled it up in trips because drain pan was too big for attic hatch. I then cut primary line and gave it a downwards slope so it can exit under master bathroom. The pan now doesn’t fill up anymore with water and drain pan is dry. House was made in 2004 and things were done a lot differently, so reason for call back was a complete different issue then refrigerant call yesterday. Charging for two hours of labor and pvc pieces.
Unit was low on refrigerant upon arrival. Got approved to out in two lbs of 410a refrigerant. The owner replaced her dual secondary motor control before I arrived and just wanted a top off. I now have sh 15, sc 6, osa 80, delta 20. House cools great and ready for summer. Asked to replace filter and didn’t have correct size for her house, so she’ll be replacing herself.
Started off with kids bedroom and cleaned out filter with water hose of any debris. Ran system in cooling as I went to next head unit. Cleaned that filter out with water in front yard. Ran head in cooling and went to check next head. Filters were cleaned in last two rooms. I got a noise complaint from one of the head units on wall that it sounded like it was gargling. I went up to attic to see if water pump was malfunctioning. Took off line set cover as well to see if there was a kink and didn’t find any reasoning for noise. Went to pvc line set that ran out side of house and sucked out water that could have been clogged in line set. Noise still exists. Units all run great and ready for summer. Would like installer to come check out since mini split under warranty .
Technician arrived to perform spring tune up -Condenser was thoroughly cleaned out and debris was removed -Electrical components are all working properly -Refrigerant levels are great and cooling the house efficiently -Filter was changed out -System is dialed in and ready for summer
Upon arrival started tune up. System is 14 years old. Inspection found electrical to be original but in good condition. Charge is good. Outdoor fan motor is failing. Compressor amps okay. Temp split is good. Informed client. Unit is operational upon departure.
Upon arrival, started ac tune up. Cleaned out condenser coils. Checked pressures and electrical. Changed filter. Compressor start amps are high. This can cause the compressor to fail during start up on hot days. Static pressure is high. Filter was super restricted. Unit is operational upon departure.
Customer has asbestos ductwork with 7 duct runs. Recommend to replace asbestos and ducting
Arrived to inspect commercial build to inspect unit to give client a estimate for 4 commercial units. Office will build one up and get back to client.
Upon arrival, performed ac tune up on system. Cleaned out condenser coils and inspected electrical. No issues found. Charge is good. Temp split is 18/20. Indoor temp was below 70 when testing. Checked duct work. Found minor leakage. Duct system is poorly designed and aging. Recommend replacing ducts. Charged out filter with customer supplied filter. Installed surge protection on indoor and outdoor unit. System is now protected. Connected nest app to clients phone. System is operational upon departure.
Arrived on site to perform AC diagnostic on 2004 carrier condensing unit. Upon arrival Kevin stated that he noticed a lot of air leakage inside of the closet where the evaporator coil is located. Start an indoor unit and found that tape is peeling off around evaporator coil due to old age. Re-taped major leakage area although there is still areas around the coil that are leaking that are unaccessible unless completely pulled out. Proceeded to outdoor unit and found that it was operational. Measured duel secondary motor control and found that it was becoming weak on compressor side. Also starter was severely burned and pitted on contact points due to the high amperage pull over time. Condenser fan motor is over amping and and showing oil leakage from each bearing, This can lead to failure in the future. Refrigerant pressures were in range at this time although system contained a phased out refrigerant called R22. Lastly recommended that compressor saver kit is installed to reduce start
Upon arrival performed maintenance on AC system. Found ducting system to have no seals at all. Ducting system to all seals have no one sealant piece on it. Indoor motor is leakih some oil. Secondary motor control is in range. Circuit board & electrical connections good. Condenser fan motor is leaking oil and is running higher then max amps. Running far over and hot. Refrigerant levels are in range. Client is fully aware. Also recommended a whole purification kit cause they have allergies. Client says he wants me to follow up with himz
Upon arrival performed diagnostic. Found condenser to not be kicking on. Was not getting any voltage down to condenser. Found low voltage wire to not be connected on the circuit board. Client had someone looking st the system in December. Starter system up and added surge protector to have system protected. System is operational.
Performed AC maintenance on a brand new condenser. Customer was given 2 filters per the contract. Refrigerant levels are good. Outdoor unit was chemically cleaned.
Arrived to adjust dampers on a new install. Customer reports excellent air flow downstairs but would like some forced upstairs, inspected ducting for dampers and did not find any. Install manager was notified.
Upon arrival performed maintenance on AC system. Indoor motor and wheel in hood condition. Thermostat good. Washed condenser coils. Refrigerant levels in very good condition. Primary and secondary motor control in range. Filter is clean. System has no surge protection. Blower wheel has some dust build up. System is operational upon completion
Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 2012 Goodman unit. Client stated no issues. Cycled unit and is good. Condenser in back yard. Furnace located in attic. Washed condenser coil inside and out. Stater is worn out and pitted from age and operation. Secondary motor control is good. Fan motor is getting wear as it’s pulling max amps. Advised due to age and unit. Checked start up and run amps on compressor and both are good. Pressure are good and holding and cooling home. No protection on unit. Recommend adding. Replaced filter. Found black flex ducting used. Found home to be n 2 zone and 1 stage furnace advised is just making unit work hard as it’s not designed for zoning. Unit is cooling and lines are clear. All safety switches are operational. Client os aware how unit is running client did hold off and did renew ESA unit is operational upon departure.
Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on 2 2 year old unit. Client stated no issues as units are new. Cycled both and both operational. Washed both condenser coils inside and out. Primary starter good. Secondary motor control is good. Both fan motor are good and in range. Checked start up and run amps on both. Heat pump is holding good charge and cooling at 19 degrees. Mini split is cooling at 2 degrees. Found no protection from n either u it and highly recommend adding protection to protect systems from electrical surges and power outages that can damage or even short out systems and components. Inspected in door unit. Filter was dirty and replaced. Coil was good and motors as well. Ducting is new and good. No protection on indoor unit and recommended adding some to protect systems. Cycled units and went over all findings with client and she is aware how unit is running and cooling. Client did hold of on recommendations but did renew ESA. Both units are operational upon departure
Diagnosed defective battery cap and tested equipment. Inspected system and components and recorded temperatures. Checked filter and blower.
System totals out to $ 18,500.00– client is only liable for payment of $15,500.00 As Tech clean California rebates will cover remaining $3000.00 balance. Note that to clean California rebates need to be done right away in order to take advantage of this offer.
Arrived on site and performed AC maintenance on 1994 comfortmaker Condenser. Upon arrival Laura states that system has been operational and she has had no issues. Client supplied filter for swap out. Cleaned out outdoor unit electrical panels. Inspected electrical and found that compressor saver kit is completely out of range and no longer Reducing start up amperage of compressor. System was not equipped with search protection and condenser fan motor is beginning to leak oil furnace bearing which can lead to a failing soon. System also contained a phased out refrigerant which is no longer manufactured as of 2020. At this time client is aware Of all possible failure points within the 1994 system. Klein took notes down on what parts may potentially feels so that she can look back in the future. At this time she declines all recommended work and will give us a call if it fails. Upon departure system is fully operational and cooling
Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 6 year old unit. Condenser located out side. Client stated no issues. Washed condenser coil inside and out. Checked electrical compartment and components. Electrical was good. Circuit board are good. Checked start up and run amps on compressor. Both are good. Fan motor is good and free of oil. Checked pressure and unit is holding charge and cooling hole good. Unit is zoned. Found no protection outdoor unit and recommended adding protection due to the type of unit it is. Cycled unit and went over all findings and recommended. Client is aware and wanted it emailed to think it over. He would let us know if he wants to go forward. Unit is operational upon departure.
Performed service on a Goodman furnace. Customer just moved in to this home. Upon inspection I found the series of operations getting stopped at the gas valve. Ordering a control board. There are multiple points concern for this system. The return duct run is ripped open exposing the inside barrier. There are other duct runs in this condition. This is releasing virtually all the conditioned air temperature into the attic. This is going to cause energy bills to be significantly increased. The drain pan has a good amount of rust and active moisture in the pan. The primary blower is leaking oil. Homeowner wants minimal repair to get up and running and a maintenance plan. Homeowner is aware this is not a permanent fix and additional repairs might be needed to get fully and safely operational.
Performed AC maintenance on a 2020 Lennox condenser. Customer reports light use of the system so far. Customer had just changed filter recently. Outdoor unit had vines growing on the panels. These were disposed of and customer was notified of the issues the air restriction can cause. Outdoor unit was washed. Service panel and compressor bay were cleaned. Refrigerant charge was verified ok. Outdoor electrical components are healthy. Indoor unit electrical amp draws are good at this time. Supply plenum had insulation that had fallen off. This was fixed today. Both unit are not protected. System is operational.
Arrived on site to return for revenue on a 2015 carrier unit. Installed and high limit unit was operating and heating in fort and second stage. Once flame were created and fluttering. Advised that’s can be a ventilation issues. Once unit was running cycled for a couple minutes to react how it would trip and ram longer but now the combustion vent high limit is tripping and over heating. Inspected venting in attic and on roof to ensure it’s not clogged. Found vent is really pinched and has been since they installed new unit. Vent goes from a 4 inch vent to 2 inch or less as it should be opened up and venting. Ram unit with out vent cap and unit ram longer but advised can not leave cap off unit as it can rain. Advised client now of findings and showed him photos and he is aware of the issues due to bad design installation. Advised would have manager put together ther a estimate to replace vent and since would have to open roof would have to get a roofer to seal up flashing once replac
