Client stated no heating -One vent was closed causing the system to get very hot -Blower motor was extremely dirty -There was no filter in place -Flame sensor was extremely dirty -Blower was cleaned and a sediment trap was installed -System has been tested multiple times and I currently running properly -Client is now apart of our comfort club
Technician arrived to perform furnace tune up for 5 year old system -Capacitor is reading proper Microfarads -Blower motor is not drawing too much power, however the blower compartment is very dirty and a cleaning is recommended to boost efficiency -There is also no gas sediment trap, so all the sediment is going directly into the gas valve and can potentially clog it -Suction line also needs to be insulated, as having if exposed will throw refrigerant levels off and cause inefficient cooling -Filters were replaced, client provided -System is still in good condition, minor repair need to be made to make it efficient as possible
Arrived on site to perform heating tune up on a 2002 ducane unit. Client stated no issues and unit is operational. Advised unit is operating but is inefficient and would recommend replacement. Heâ€™s been keeping alive doing repairs. He is aware and unit is operational upon departure.he stated he just waiting for it to fail since this is his second day home and is not always here. Cucumber it and unit is operational.
When I arrived at house, I was told condenser unit didnâ€™t turn on. I went directly to thermostat to watch system fail. I turned cooling on, and went to condenser unit. Opened condenser cabinet and started checking all my electrical components. Motor control was reading full, electronic fan motor was just installed not too long ago. I then checked windings on starter and took off my 24v legs. To de energize system, and I put legs back on and system took off. The starter was smoking when I put legs back on. The starter is failing when giving a call for cool. The owner and I turned on system and shut off system plenty of times. We wanted to make sure that it would work In a call for cooling. The system worked every time. Owner is ok with replacing part whenever I can return to install. Will get part ordered to install. Charging for diagnostic only today.
Performed diagnostic on 4 year old unit. Homeowner states system is not cooling, and he noticed that the outdoor fan has not been turning on. Cycled system for cooling. Outdoor condenser fan motor is unresponsive, rest of unit is turning on normally. Checked outdoor unit electrical and components. Found a dead secondary motor control that was not powering on fan motor correctly. Advised homeowner, put in a temp part to power unit on and fully evaluate system. With new part in unit, condenser motor turned on and system started cooling. System producing proper temperature split. Amp draws within range. Compressor start up amperage was higher than weâ€™d like, but within range. Filter was just replaced and is clean. No surge protection on unit. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowner and wife over the phone. Want to take care of immediate repair and maintenance program today, and take care of other recommendations in near future. Secured new secondary motor control in system
Upon arrival performed diagnostic, found secondary control completely Low. Added a testing part to test entire system. Compressor has a start up amp of 71 out of 77. Advised client he can help system with adding softener kit for compressor. Condenser fan motor is discoloring the paint on side of motor due to overheatment. Client wanted to do the bare minimum. Will call us if ever wants to do Memebrship. But not in the position to do that right now.
Upon arrival installed new motor. Verified rotation and amps. Tested system. System is operational upon departure.
Upon arrival, found 1 15 year old system. Began by checked electrical. Capacitor and compressor are okay. Condenser fan motor is failing. Charge is okay. Temp split is good. Got access to indoor unit. No emergency drain pan installed. Flushed drain line. Checked indoor motor. Changed filter. Unit is operational upon departure.
Preformed furnace repairs on Ducane heater. Installed new blower and outdoor/indoor surge protection. System is fully operational and heating properly upon departure.
Performed furnace maintenance on 2007 Ducane heater. Upon arrival Mario stated that the system did not work early in the morning when he tried using the heater. Ran system before starting in system fired up properly and began to heat. Although during the maintenance I did find that the indoor blower motor had significant oil leakage and the single secondary motor control that powers the motor is significantly out of range rating 1.8 MFD which is too low. The motor is not moving enough air capacity across the heat exchanger which will result in it getting too hot as well. Recommend that surge protection is also installed To protect the circuitboard and any sensitive components from power surges that can be damaging. Ordered indoor blower motor and will be returning one part is in hand.
Performed AC diagnostic on 1999 Goodman condenser. Upon my diagnostic client stated that the system stopped working about a week ago heâ€™s not sure if the capacitors bad. Upon my diagnostic I found multiple points of concerns that were addressed with Woody. 1. Compressor windings are no longer good and are instantly causing the breaker to trip or pop the fuses. 2. Duel secondary motor control has been blown on both fan and hermetic side terminals 3. Power disconnect was no longer sending out load to condenser. 4. Starter showed signs of painting and burn marks on contact points 5. System Contained a Phased out R22 Refrigerant As of January 1, 2020 Discuss the full condition of the system with Woody and he plans on putting the house on the martlet. We are going to give him his options whether or not he would like to replace the R22 compressor or replace the ac side of the system. Upon departure collected only diagnostic fee and supervisor will be getting back to him about replacement o
Upon arrival performed diagnostic on goodman system. System was low on charge, added 1 lb of r410a and added leak dye to system. Cooling dropped down to 52 degrees. Replaced secondary motor control that was out of range. System is operational upon departure.
Inspected upstairs cassette for operation and measured temperatures. Adjusted fan settings to circulate, recommending leaving the system set to cool at 80 so that when the loft is occupied there is not such a large demand to pull down the temperature quickly. Checked filter. Also recommending drapes or shutters for the 4 large windows to help alleviate the heat load upstairs.
Circuit board was replaced And system began heating with a 40 degree temp rise. Board is warranty for 1 year and system is fully operational upon departure
Performed AC diagnostic on 2007 Ducane Condenser. Upon my diagnostic Mario stated that just a couple months ago The heater had issues with the circuitboard and it needed to be replaced and now the AC doesnâ€™t turn on. The first place I went was to the thermostat and turned the system on to cooling and there was a tremendously long delay. Removed thermostat and jumped out cooling and everything fired up. Proceeded to the addict define that the system is a dedicated horizontal Ducane Inspected the circuitboard and found multiple burns and heat spots. Also found that the indoor blower motor was leaking significant oil from the bearing. Inspected outdoor unit and measured refrigerant pressures to find that the system has major air Restrictions. Refrigerant charge checked out although it does have a Phased out refrigerant called R22. Measured duel secondary motor control that powers compressor and fan and found that it was weak on the compressor side. High-voltage relay was also pitted on
Installed daikin 1 thermostats and translating hubs. Manually configured thermostats for operation.

Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 2004 unit. Condenser located on side of home. Furnace and Evaporator coil located in attic. Washed condenser inside and out. Fan motor is leaking my oil from self wear. Primary was good and secondary is good as it was replaced last year. Unit has existing compressor booster kit. Compressor amp are high from age and wear on compressor. Fan motor is pulling high amps draws as well and why motor is leaking oil refrigerant pressure are stable and cooling home at 22 degrees. Indoor unit. Blower assembly is really dirty and with oil. Motor has been leaking oil and could fail in future. Secondary motor control is in range. Evaporator coil is dirty from lack of filter change out. Advised to stay on top of filter cause dirt could clogged up Evaporator coil and drain lines. Temperature split is good and cooling at 22 degrees. Cycled unit. Client is aware of how system is running and itâ€™s condition. Client did declined recommended work at this tim
on arrival found downflow unit running at medium speed on heat putting out a 30Â° temperature split. Switched the fan and the heat terminals so that heat is now on the low speed and fan is on medium low speed. Temperature split is now 42Â° which is warmer and still within range of the temperature split. System is working correctly at this time with a good temperature split and clients are happy with this change. Let the clients know that cooling unfortunately cannot be change from the high speed and the fan will still be loud when running the cooling. If need to change we may be able to bring the fan down to medium high but for now left the way it is.

Arrived on site to perform combo tune up on a 2019 Lennox unit. Condenser outside and furnace and evaporator coil located in laundry room. Clistaed he wants unit inspected as unit is not cooling. Advised client I would be doing a full system evaluation and will not charge as I will perform tune up on unit and advised findings.founsout door unit no operational.
