Arrived on site to perform diagnostic on a 2005 airflow unit. Condenser in back yard and furnace located in garage. Client stated unit just stopped cooling and only got air is coming out. She has tried to get unit to cool but is not. Cycled cooling and found compressor not on. Che led electrical. Found secondary motor control completely bad. Primary starter is listed as well from use and age. Fan motor is leaking oil and is working at max. Advised is not good and can fail soon. Start up was above max on compressor. Run amps was high pulling 10 amps and max at 16. Unit hold r-22 and is no longer in production. Unit is hold a charge and cooling home at 20 degrees. New ducting used. Unit has a slab coil as well and is very bad design as they are not able to get cleaned or open up due to access. Oy one drain line am dis not good as no over flow switches are present. Cycled unit and went over all findings with client and she is aware of condition and how unit is running. She stated she is
Arrived on site to diagnose no cooling unit. Spoke to client and he stated unit is not cooling and think is refrigerant issues. Had him cycled and found out door unit not operating properly. Fan motor was not operational. Advised would inspect unit. Checked electrical found secondary motor control out of range and bad and fan is causing part to fail. Replaced to test unit and was operational. Primary starter Burnt up. Fan motor leak slight oil but okay in range of amps. Start up high but in range and recommended compressor booster kit to help prevent hard start and prolong life of unit. Unit hold r-22 and is no longer in production. Unit is hold a good charge. Unit is cooling hole now at 20 degrees. No protection on either unit. Inspected attic and found black flex ducting used. Blower assembly and wheel are dirty. Drain lines have no safety overflow on either unit and recommended adding some. Client are not change filter as they should recommended upgrading to a year long filter since
Arrived on site to perform tune up on a 1 year old package unit. Unit is new and client stated no issues. Cycled both heating and cooling. Filter was replaced by client. Washed condenser coil inside and out. Checked electrical compartment and components and all good. Blower motor and assembly is good. Both motor are in range in amps. Pressures are good and cooling home at 21 degrees. Advised filter needs to be replaced more often and they are going to do so. Cycled Heater and is operational. Temperature rise is in range and heating home good. No protection on unit. Client wanted to renew but stated she will do so Monday as I will call her to renew over phone. Cycled unit and is operational upon departure.
Arrive on n site to perform spring tune up on a 5 year old unit. Client stated no issues. Condenser in back yard. Furnace located in garage. Washed condenser coil inside and out. Checked electrical and and components. Primary starter is pitting out from operational. Secondary motor control is good. Fan motor is good. Checked pressure and are good and steady and cooling home at 21 degrees. No protection out side. Filter was good and replaced in past. Blower motor and whee is good. Motor is free of oil. Unit is cooling hole good. Drain line is good and clear. All safety switches are operational. No protection inside as well. Recommend adding protection to both unit to protect systems from electrical surges and power outages. Cycled unit and went over findings with client and he is aware but did hold off. Cycled unit and is operational upon departure.
Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 2013 lennox unit. Condenser located in back yard. Furnace located in closet. Turned unit on and unit was operational. Inspected indoor filter was dirty and really restricted. Found unit to have air flow issues. As unit had a really bad static at 1.14 and rated at 0.8. Blower assembly and wheel is good. Condensation line is good and ran to drain pump. Found unit not cooling gloat and only at 11 degrees. Washed condenser coil inside and out. Checked electrical compartment components. Primary stater was really burnt up. Secondary motor control is out of range on fan side. Recommend replacing. Unit is 9 years old and Compressor start up is in range but getting Hogg and recommended adding compressor booster kit to help prevent hard start up and prolong the life of unit. Checked pressure and found unit low on charge as subcool was really low. Advised client as to why unit is not as good as it should. No protection on unit and recommended adding

Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 2019 lennox unit. Client stated no issues unit is new. Cycled and good. Washed condenser coil inside and out. Checked electrical compartment. Primary starter and secondary motor controls are both good. Fan motor is good and in range of amp. Start up and run amps are both good. Checked pressure and unit is holding good charge and cooling. No protection on unit. Found filter dirty and blower assembly is good. Drain lines are good. Unit is cooling at 19 degrees. Just no protection on unit. Cycled unit and went over findings and recommendations. Client stated she would order her own filter and did hold off for now as she is not able at this time. Cycled unit and unit is oper And cooling upon departure.
Upon arrival, found 20 year old comfort maker condenser. System was in poor shape. Condenser fins were extremely restricted. Filter was super restricted as well. Cleaned coils and checked charge. Charge is super low. System is cooling 8/20 degrees. Compressor is amping super high. Can possibly fail this summer. System is not getting enough airflow. Duct design is poor shape.
Arrived on site and performed AC maintenance. Checked electrical components. Inspected unit for safety and proper venting. System does not have drain pan or flood switch. Condensate lines are clear. Checked filters customer changes monthly. Cleaned return grill. Capacitor is within range. System is cooling at a 20Â° temperature split. Outdoor condenser fan motor does show signs of leaking oil on shaft. Did not show signs of motor over amp in however it is hot to touch. Cleaned outdoor condenser coils and removed dog hair and debris from bottom of unit. System is cooling and operational upon departure.Customer is aware there is no ceiling safety ( drain pan or flood switch ). customer is aware of outdoor fan motor leaking oil as well. Will continue to monitor throughout maintenance.
Arrived on site to perform diagnostic on unit. Met with Marioâ€™s mom. Mario available via phone. Homeowner states downstairs unit is not working, it is original to the home from 1987, and is not blowing any air. Upstairs unit was replaced through another company or person and is 3 years old. Cycled downstairs unit for cooling. Outdoor unit kicks on, indoor unit is unresponsive. Checked indoor unit electrical and system components and found that circuit board is not sending command for indoor motor to turn on. Bypassed fan motor to test and it does kick on but spins slower than itâ€™s supposed to. Secondary motor control is within range. Indoor blower wheel is extremely dirty, and there is a filter inside the furnace that they were unaware of that was causing a restriction. Unit is extremely old and if repaired, would be very inefficient. Went over findings and recommendations with Mario over the phone. Needs to talk it over with his mom before a decision is made. Arrived on site to perform convoy tune up on a 2004 Goodman unit. Furnace located in garage and condenser on side of home. Cli stated they just moved in and wanted units serviced. Cycled cooling and good. Cycled heating and was good but unit would shut off couple minutes after. Advised client of findings before any work was done and she is aware unit is shutting off. As well as this is an existing issues and nothing to do with the maintenance. advised I would inspect both side and advised the findings. The summary of findings is as followed. 1. 2004 Goodman unit. 2. Filter was never replaced in a while and was packed in blower compartment. As itâ€™s really dirty of dirt build up. 3. Blower motor has been leaking oil from a while and has a think layer of oil and dirt build up. Motor can fail at any time due to condition and age. 4. Secondary motor control for blower motor is out of range and getting weak. 5. Found unit have airflow restriction as not enough air is entering air int
Customer reports cold air coming from vents in heat mode. Found system in a high limit lockout. Jumped a limit switch to find a temperature rise of 70 degrees. Filter is very clogged. Changed filter and ran a call for heat which ended the lockout. System is operational at end of appointment. Ordered a limit switch from Trane just in case future issues with this switch. System is operational.
Performed furnace maintenance on 2011 carrier heater. Upon arrival Ron stated that the system has been working with no issues although this will be the first maintenance for it. Performed full safety inspection in maintenance but during the visit I did find multiple points of concerns. 1. Indoor blower motor is leaking oil from its bearing and will lead to it locking up overheating eventually. Indoor blower motors used for both AC and heating 2. 1 inch filter was heavily plugged up with dust and debris and recommend that it is swapped out every one to three months Ron will be getting these from the store. 3. Flame sensor was oxidize and cleaned off 4. Blower wheel is really dirty due to filter not being swapped out enough 5. Condensate line was cracked and taped up with duct tape recommend line is repaired to prevent further water leakage from occurring during the summer season or during AC operation 6. Airflow was heavily restricted due to couch sitting in front of return and clogged
Preformed furnace maintenance on 2020 Lennox heater.
Installed all parts. Tested system for proper temperature rise and static. All parts have 1 year warranty. System is fully operational upon departure.
Installation of 19 SEER Variable Speed Slim Line System with matching coil and furnace, system totals out to $16,246, with Tech Clean Californias $3,000 rebate client is only liable for payment of $13,246
Upon arrival found the board sent by supply house was the wrong board. Further inspection of heater found a crack in the heat exchanger facing the burner. Talked to homeowner about replacement options. Client wants to see replacement options.
Upon arrival performed diag, found that circuit board is not giving power out for indoor motor. System is not putting out power for heating or cooling. Client is gonna replace his own circuit board. System is non operational.
Performed furnace Diagnostic on 2005 heater. Upon arrival tenant stated that heat has not worked for approximately 3 to 4 weeks. AC works but he does not blow anything. Proceeded to attic and found that system was on but not calling for heat. Reset system and it began to fire up for only about three minutes until it overheated. Found the indoor blower motor has a significant amount of oil leakage and is not moving enough airflow Resulting in the heat exchanger becoming hotter than what itâ€™s designed for. Also found that the b vent elbow was disconnected venting into the attic, system can be ran with disconnected exhaust vent. Evaporator coil was also significantly plugged up with dirt resulting in much more restrictions. Discussed with Andy the full condition of his 16 year old heater. He is aware that any repairs dumped into a old system will be condenser only a band aid and will not guarantee extra life. Client wants to get as much life as possible out the system at this point. Performed diagnostic on 35 year old Rheem unit. Homeowner states unit is more blowing any hot air. Cycled system for heat. Unit was completely unresponsive. Found that power strip where furnace was connected to was burnt out and unit was not recieving proper high voltage. Connected furnace directly to wall outlet. There should be nothing else connected to this outlet as it should be dedicated to only the furnace. With proper high voltage, pilot lit but gas valve never engaged. Ignition board needs to be replaced as it is not sending voltage to gas valve. Need to check with manufacture to see if it is still available due to age of equipment, will be calling tomorrow. Homeowner does not want to replace unit and wants to fix it. System is not operational upon departure.
Upon arrival assessed duct system. Found most of it falling apart. Some runs were leaking into the attic. Client went forward with duct system replacement.
Upon arrival performed maintenance on on heating system. Dusted off all electrical components and dusted off furnace caging, waced furnace unit. Indoor motor and wheel are in good condition. Client has System protected with a 3000 joule surge protector. Clients UV lights are both out. Client does not wanna replace. Filter was replaced. Circuit board and electrical connection in range. Thermostat in working order. Flame sensor was cleaned. Purged through drain. System is operational upon departure.
Performed Furnace maintenance on 4 year old Lennox system. Cycled system for heat. Verified proper heating sequence of operations. Temperature rise across heat exchanger is within range. Ran system through 20 point inspection checklist. Filter is extremely dirty and is causing unit temperature to be high. Recommend replacing filter ASAP. Homeowner will be ordering filter and replacing it himself. Cycled system, system is operational upon departure.
Tech arrived on site. Found 2 hvac systems with customer installed thermostats. 2 Bryant furnaces and 2 Goodman condensers. Upstairs system was not operational. Both thermostats are missed wired. Upstairs fuse was blown. Both units were super dirty from lack of maintenance. After replacing the fuse found that the thermostat had failed. Indoor blower cap for upstairs has failed. Blower motors are leaking oil. Condenser fan motors are rusty. Client didnâ€™t move forward with repairs. Left equipment how it was before the visit. Equipment is not operational upon departure.
Arrived on site to perform fall tune up on a 2007 Goodman unit. Client stated no issues. Hey cycled unit on and was operational. Filter was replaced. Blower assembly and wheel is dirty recon a cleaning. Motor is good slight leaking of oil but is operating. Inducer motor is in range of amps. Found unit to only have one drain line and slight debris. But advised he needs to stay on top of filter change out. Inspected heat exchanger and found it to be covered in heat impingement due to over heating. Found unit not compromised and still safe at This time from age and operation. No protection on unit. Recommend adding surge protectors to system due to its condition of the control board. Client os aware. Cycled unit to ensure system operating. Client did declined recommended work at this time. He Staters he will call us back when heâ€™s ready. System is operational upon departure.
