First of all I thought when they were coming out for an estimate it was only gonna be $100 I wasn’t aware that if it took two hours or three hours which the time was it written down correctly that it was going to cost me 300 I was quoted $99. Second of all it took three visits and after three visits they were talking thousands of dollars I could go on and on but my air-conditioning was fixedAt a cost of $1400 not the estimated thousands of dollars they were telling me

Cool Air Solutions is the best!
Emily - Canyon Lake, CA 92587
We got our entire HVAC system updated and installed two years ago with Cool Air Solutions. They also helped us get new, energy efficient windows, which qualified us for a state rebate. From the technicians who handled the install to the service providers in the office, every person went above and beyond. When the city came to inspect and sign off on our project, the inspector said he’d never seen a cleaner install and asked us to pass on Cool Air’s info since he needed to update his own HVAC. Here we are two years later for our complimentary service, and the same high standard of care and service is clearly evident. Thank you to the office team for following up and reminding us about our service, and to Jorge for being a great technician!

The client contacted us about their AC system. They did not think it was performing adequately and wanted to know if they should repair or replace it. We did a thorough maintenance check and found that the filters needed replacing not the unit. We are always happy to save our clients time and money.

The client took advantage of our online coupon for a free HVAC inspection. We recommended the best maintenance plan for the client to save money on emergency repairs.

The client was concerned about IAQ or indoor air quality. We sat down with the family and discussed how more modern filters and purifiers can really protect them from various pollutants and VOCs. We discussed prices and financing. The client was happy with our professional service.

The client contacted us to discuss their indoor air quality (IAQ). They were concerned about allergens but had recently read about VOCs. We sat down and discussed all the various filtration systems available and conducted an IAQ test. The client was able to choose the best system for their family and budget.

The client contacted us about poor airflow from the HVAC unit. We did a full 20-point maintenance check and discovered clogged air filters. If the filter gets overloaded and clogged, it impedes the HVAC airflow, leading to those hot & cold spots and stuffy air. WE recommend cleaning filters every six months.

The client contacted us about their AC unit. The house seemed a lot warmer than the temperature they set it at. In fact, the thermostat was not functioning properly. We suggested replacing the outdated one with a smart thermostat to keep their home more comfortable and save on energy costs. They thought it was really great to control the AC from their phone.

Arrived on site to preform a 20 point maintenance inspection on a air handler/ Heat pump. Upon arrival unit was in heat mode, open up unit and took a total amp draw for the unit, amp draw was within the desired range for this unit. Inspected air handler control board, nothing was out of place all connections were tight and in the proper terminals. Temp rise was within limits and unit was not over heating. Checked and cleared condensate drains, drains were clear at the time of maintenance. Checked the outside unit, I opened the unit and took a compressor amp draw, compressor was within range, inspected all other electrical components and boards on outside inverter unit. Opened bar screen on outside unit and rinsed and clean entire unit. Unit was operating upon departure.

When I arrived, I was told heating wasn’t operating. I started diagnostic and found three error codes on thermostat. All communication errors not finding smart hub or zone board. I re wired new bundle from smart hub to zone board. That didn’t solve issue. I grounded out all wires that were extra in bundle and that didn’t resolve issue. Need supervisor to come out to correctly diagnose issue to clear all three error codes.

Add heat strips to package unit along with running power.
Tony R.
When I arrived, I was told heating works on and off. The unit doesn’t have heat strips added to air handler. Unit will need heat strips for a supplemental heat source to help a heat pumps heating output when the outdoor temperature gets really low. Since it has been really cold, there is not enough heat in the outside air for your heat pump to do job alone.

Preformed a 20 point inspection on two split systems, both were operational and functional when powered on. Went through electrical connections on both systems and checked safety limits. Both systems electrical connection were good and within range nothing was over amping or drawing to many amps. All safety limits functioned properly and were operational. Static pressure on both systems were high, recommendations were made to the customer to address static pressure and ducting. Condensate drains on both systems were clear and draining. Combustion gases were venting properly on both systems and were no leaks in the flue vents. Over all both systems were in good condition, other than air flow and ducting which we addressed with the customer.

Arrived on site to diagnose a noise complain on a 2 year old Samsung unit. Spoke to tenant and owner and they stated out door unit would make a beeping noise. Returned to install txv. Rediagnosed to confirm issue. Issue is at outdoor txv valve, restricting refrigerant in heating. On these models, txv is directly welded into line drier, which should both be replaced together. Line drier was not included in parts sent from Lennox. Need to have them send complete parts and return to perform repairs. Homeowners were very understanding. System not operational upon departure.
Luis M.
Upon arrival replaced defrost board. Tested system and system has a restriction in TXV. Tested filter driers those are good. System goes into high pressure 620psi and shuts off in heating mode. Client is gonna all last company to fix there problems. TXV restricted .

Arrived on site to perform diagnostic on heat pump unit. Unit is not heating, and thermostat is displaying no power on screen. Checked indoor air handler electrical and components. Found that unit was getting low voltage power, but not low voltage was not present. Found bad transformer that was not converting high voltage to low voltage. Also found that indoor unit does not have a service disconnect in attic, which leaves the unit unprotected to electrical damage. No surge Protection as well. Ductwork is in very poor condition as well. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowner over phone. With approval went ahead and replaced transformer at indoor unit. Restored power and cycled unit. System is now heating, temperature split within range. Signed up for maintenance program. System is operational upon departure.

Upon arrival performed maintenance on 2021 Lennox system. Found coils extremely dirty. System did not have any room for breathing. Amperage’s we’re high in compressor when restricted but dropped when restriction was taken care of. Filter needs to be swapped out. Did not have that size on van. Advised moving up to merv cabinet to filter more. Washed out coils. Tested electrical connections. Systems is in good condition. Client not home worked with son.

Upon arrival performed diagnostic. System is not kicking on, is stuck in low pressure switch. Even when restarting entire system. Jumping switches. And nothing. Client had TXV replaced Oct 28. And tech said he couldn’t get it to kick on anymore. Ordering from Lennox. And gonna continue diagnostic when new board is in .

Upon arrival system was operational. Checked outdoor unit because system is a heat pump. Pressures were high due to temperature outside. Amps were in range, washed unit from inside out secondary motor was in range but on the lower side. Safety switches were functioning properly. Moved to the indoor unit blew out condensation line and ducts were good , blower wheel was free of oil and debris. Upon departure unit was heating and operational.

Washed out condenser coils inside and out. Checked fan motors and one is seizing up and other is at max amps and is going to be seizing up In Future. Secondary motor control was weak and going bad on small condenser. Big condenser secondary motor control is new and looks as it was just replaced. Both primary starters are in range. Checked compressor start up and run amps are in range just high. Checked pressure and found both units holding charge of r-22 and is in range. Units are heating and cooling. Arrived on site to perform heat tune up on a 2012 Goodman unit. Condenser located in back yard. Furnace located in attic. Client stated no issues as they have just moved into home. Cycled heater and is operational. Inspected attic and found black flex duct used. Found it to be a bit under sizes as airflow is a bit restricted. Filter was replaced and found it to be a April air. Replaced it with a hepa filter for now as client has allergies. Blower assembly and coil have dust from dirt entered unit. While in attic found that a home foundation of the 2x4 has been cut and was removed and to have been done when they replaced the unit. Advised client so she is aware. Protection has been added. Inspected condenser unit. Washed condenser coil inside and out. Primary starter is good. Secondary motor control was completed bad and only started due to the kick start they had in unit. Fan side was good. Fan motor has a lot of oil that has leaked in past. Recommended replacing to help unit run easie
