First of all I thought when they were coming out for an estimate it was only gonna be $100 I wasn’t aware that if it took two hours or three hours which the time was it written down correctly that it was going to cost me 300 I was quoted $99. Second of all it took three visits and after three visits they were talking thousands of dollars I could go on and on but my air-conditioning was fixedAt a cost of $1400 not the estimated thousands of dollars they were telling me

Cool Air Solutions is the best!
Emily - Canyon Lake, CA 92587
We got our entire HVAC system updated and installed two years ago with Cool Air Solutions. They also helped us get new, energy efficient windows, which qualified us for a state rebate. From the technicians who handled the install to the service providers in the office, every person went above and beyond. When the city came to inspect and sign off on our project, the inspector said he’d never seen a cleaner install and asked us to pass on Cool Air’s info since he needed to update his own HVAC. Here we are two years later for our complimentary service, and the same high standard of care and service is clearly evident. Thank you to the office team for following up and reminding us about our service, and to Jorge for being a great technician!

Inspected condenser unit. Washed condenser coil inside and out. Primary starter is good. Secondary motor control was completed bad and only started due to the kick start they had in unit. Performed an AC maintenance on a 2021 AC pro system. The clients stated that they where having an airflow problem in the upstairs area. When you got half way up the stairs you could feel a substantial difference in the temperatures. After feeling the vents there was hardly any air flow coming from them. I went into the attic and saw that the damper attached to the duck leading up stairs was almost fully closed. After opening the damper and closing certain ones downstairs half way, you could feel much more airflow coming out of the upstairs vents. System was chemically bathed and thoroughly washed. Checked pressures and temperature splits and both where in range. Checked all electrical components and everything was in range. Filters where not swapped this visit. System was fully operational on time of departure.
Technician arrived to perform maintenance for mini split and 3 heads -Condenser was cleaned out thoroughly and debris was removed -All 3 filters were washed out and dried -Refrigerant levels are at proper levels -Air flow is great, air is about 52° -Client renewed maintenance membership to keep her system nice and tuned
Upon arrival, client said airflow was poor in bathroom. Inspected ducts and found them designed and installed poorly. Made recommendations on how to improve airflow. Diagnostic fee can be applied towards project if approved within 7 business days.
When I arrived at unit, the pipes were frozen over. I went to attic to make sure blower motor was spinning and air is moving. I then noticed that the door switch stays pushed in all the way even after detaching the doors. It’s in pushed in position always and will always call for cool. I then went to filters and owner provided filters so I replaced them because they were dirty. The filters were the issue and caused a restriction on system. I then went outside to check noise out on motors I just installed. The noise is the compressor running. Both compressors running at 20 amps. Owner speaking with someone on Friday. No charge today
When I arrived at unit, the owner mentioned he tried to set up his own thermostat. Owner did the job correctly, but wasn’t sure why unit wasn’t turning on. I checked out for fuses and he didn’t pop any fuses. I then went to condenser unit to find why condenser was shut off. I started at breaker and noticed breaker was tripped. Turned breaker ON, then the unit began to work for two minutes. I could hear compressor make the loudest noise. Then it shut off and tripped breaker, I re did same thing but got an amp draw. My amp draw for compressor reached as high as 29 amps and shut off once again. Compressor will continue to do same thing, the compressor can’t be saved. Owner will be speaking with supervisor on Friday to get replacement options. Today just charging for diagnostic of 98.
Last ac maintenance visit, I recommended a rebuild on both systems. The downstairs unit failed and didn’t cool. I set a call for cool and condenser fan motor wouldn’t spin. Amp draw was exceeded for fan motor. I notified owner and he approved of all my recommendations even on other unit. I disconnected both fan motors and set to rpm needed on motors. I cut and reconnected all 24v and 120v legs to the starter. Then lastly I replaced both motor controls for systems. Both units working more efficient now, a lot less quieter than before as well due to the electronic controlled motors.
Tested equipment with Maytag tech support, replaced high pressure switch. Monitored refrigerant pressures. Tested switches to ground and voltages. Checked sensor resistance. Placed umbrella over condenser to shade the unit and cooled the coils with water to lower the pressure.
Replaced defrost board on outdoor system. Tested system on cooling before departure, system is working properly at this time.
Diagnosed defective defrost control board.
Upon arrival, system was not operational. Client said the capacitor had been replaced before by home warranty. Opened up the electrical and found the capacitor had failed again. Inspected unit and found the outdoor fan motor to be leaking oil. Found part of the condenser coil to be falling apart. Filter drier is rusted out. Installed new capacitor and tested system. Compressor is close to max amps. Fan motor is also close to max. Informed client. Client want to do the immediate repair only. Advised client on replacement options. Unit is operational upon departure.
