First of all I thought when they were coming out for an estimate it was only gonna be $100 I wasn’t aware that if it took two hours or three hours which the time was it written down correctly that it was going to cost me 300 I was quoted $99. Second of all it took three visits and after three visits they were talking thousands of dollars I could go on and on but my air-conditioning was fixedAt a cost of $1400 not the estimated thousands of dollars they were telling me

Performed maintenance on a Lennox heat pump. Temperature split is in range. Filter is clean. Condensate lines are clear and flowing good. Indoor coil is clean. Indoor amp draws are in range. Condenser was chemically washed. Refrigerant levels are ok. Starting components are in range. Cycled system, system is operational upon departure.
Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 1 year old unit. Package unit on roof. Client stated no issues. But a platform had to be built for us to perform maintenance safety and not put her solar panels at risk. Platform was made performed tune up. Washed condenser coil inside and out. Electrical compartment was good and both motors are in range of amps. Checked safety switches and pressures and unit is holding steady charge and cooling home at 20 degrees. No protection on unit and recommended adding some. Cycled unit and went over how unit is running and recommendations. Client is aware but did hold off as she wanted her husband to be emailed it all over so he can read. Client did declined the maintenance plan for now. Client didnâ€™t want to pay for the platform to be made and kept at her location so would be taking platform and advised with out it we will not be able to perform maintenance safety for us and her solar panels. She is aware. Unit is operational upon departure.
Arrived and performed spring tune up on 2 units. One 2013 heat pump and one 2005 package unit. Client stated no issues as unit do cool and they know one unit is older. Washed both condenser coils inside and. Checked electrical compartment on both units. Found secondary bad in package unit. Heat pump is in range. Starter is pitted on contact points. Heat pump stater is good. Fan motor is over amping on the package unit. Would recommend replacing but they stated they just waiting for it to fail and they are think of replacing package unit. Heat pump motor is good and in range. Checked start up amps and are in range just high. Recommend adding a compressor booster kit to package unit to help prevent hard start up older compressor. Both units hold R410-a checked pressure and both are good and cooling. Package unit just had ducting replaced in past and good. Inspected ducting in attic for heat pump and found gray flex ducting used and is falling apart and is losing cooling temperature in a
Diagnosed miswired condenser
Upon arrival performed maintenance on AC system. Washed condenser coils out compellty. Coils are nice and clean. Circuit board & all electrical is in good condition. Indoor motor & wheel good. Replaced filter client provided. Surge protector in working order. Thermostat & all zones in working order. System is operational upon completion.
Arrived on site to perform diagnostic on unit. Upon arrival, homeowner stated that unit is operating and is cooling and would just like it looked over. He does however plan to replace the unit in September. He is pulling out a major loan for a full house remodel, and is replacing the AC at that time. Basically just needs an estimate to replace the system to put it into loan, however I did mention that our price is good for 30 days, and anything past that we would have to come out and requote it.He will be calling us for an estimate closer to when they are ready.

Performed heating maintenance on a 2017 Lennox heat pump. Outdoor unit was chemically washed. Outdoor electrical components were tested measured and are in range. Heating temperature split is in range. Indoor coil is clean. Indoor sensors and switches were cleaned and tested. Condensate lines are clear. Thermostat was cycled. Filter is clean. System is operational at end of appointment.
Performed combo maintenance on a 2012 Bryant heat pump. Heating controls and temperature split is in range. Filter is clean at this time. Indoor coil is clean. Indoor blower motor is amping in range. Outdoor unit was chemically washed. Start amps are almost at max range, this will be higher once the temperature rises. Refrigerant levels are Ok. Customer was briefed on the condition. He has multiple homes and wants to just get maintenance done. System is operational.
Combo Tune Up Performed- performed maintenance on a Lennox system. Upon arrival system is working and operational. I began my maintenance at the outdoor unit by breaking it down and cleaning with water and solution. Removed heavy amounts of dirt and debris. I then inspected all electrical components for signs of wear and checked for tight connections. I measured amp draws and recorded refrigerant pressures. I then proceeded to the indoor furnace unit. Here I took temperature splits and measured static pressures. I inspected the condensate lines for proper drainage. I checked electrical components for tight connections and wear. Inspected the blower housing for balance and dust. Checked heating components for wear. Inspected heating components for proper operation. Filter has been changed at this time, cool air provided 20x25x5 merv 16 filter. Upon departure systems is working and operational.
Two system Lennox furnace tuneup. Tested heating systems and recorded temperatures. Cleaned flame sensors. Tested ignitors. Measured amp draws. Monitored ignition and checked ducting for leaks. Labeled equipment and logged all equipment models and filters.
Arrived on site to perform heatpump diagnostic on 2006 Neil system. Upon arrival Mike stated that heâ€™s lived in the house for approximately five years and Has had no issues or maintenance done. He states now for a couple weeks that the system has been short cycling and not getting to temperature and the only way for him to get it to turn on is by shutting it on and off at the breaker but even after that itâ€™s only runs for a short period of time also creating a extremely high electric bill due to this. Began troubleshooting at air handler and found that everything was operational at this area, proceeded to outdoor unit and did full inspection and found that system was low on R22 refrigerant which was completely phased out January 1, 2020. system was also over amping and exceeding 21 Amp for what itâ€™s rated for using a total of 23 Amps and higher till it shuts off. Also checked other electrical components and found at that the high voltage distributor has burning and pitting marks
Upon arrival client stated system did not heat when turning on. Advised if temp is under sub40 degrees, heat pumps have trouble kicking on. System is on now, have a good temp split coming out of vents from intake. System is operational. Advised client what is going on. Son let me inside home.
Heating Maintenance Performed Upon arrival system is working and operational. I began my maintenance at the outdoor heat pump unit, I broke it down and cleaned the coil removing dirt and debris. I checked and tightened electrical connections. I inspected the heating components for proper operation and wear. Amp draws were taken. I then proceeded to the three indoor blower units. temperature splits were taken, electrical components were inspected for wear and amp draws. Filters have been washed and reinstalled. Blower housing and wheel was inspected for balance and dust build up. Air supply was measured. Inspected safety switches as well as inspected home for fire and carbon monoxide detectors. Upon inspection of the outdoor unit I found there to be no form of electrical protection, recommend adding surge protection to the outdoor unit to protect the sensitive electrical components contained within. Upon departure system is working and operational.
Performed maintenance on a 2013 heat pump. Heating temperature split is 33 degrees. Indoor coils were cleaned. Filter was replaced with a customer provided merv 16. Refrigerant pressures were checked in cooling, the levels look low with a 1.9 subcool. Outdoor coils were chemically cleaned. Outdoor components were measured and recorded. Condition was discussed with homeowner. Customer stated he is going to contact a friend for better pricing. System is operational.
Upon arrival performed heating tune up. Washed outdoor coils. Secondary motor control is in range. Compressor amperages are in range. Replaced filter. Ducting is original tk home. Ducting connections have no seals. Client said to email over everything. If client is ready to replace ducting, call office to get air flow engineer. Thermostat in working order. Coils are clean. System is operational upon departure.
Customer reports system taking 3 hours to heat from 69 to 73 only in the mornings. Heat pump with electric strips. His electric bill has increased significantly since I fixed the heat strips last month which is normal. At todayâ€™s visit the house was 73. It got up to 76 within 20 minutes with a 25 degree split. Customer wants another visit in the morning.
Checked system operation, tested both modes. Inspected unit for noises. Amperage is rated for 12 amps for the compressor, the meter read 7 amps, which indicated the unit it running properly and not drawing too much power to cause a noise. Sprayed down the condenser coil as it was a little bit dirty. The noise appears to be the normal transition from Stage 1 to Stage 2.
Performed warranty call. States there is a buzzing noise coming from the unit and it is loud inside the home. Cycled system for heat. Buzzing noise is normal and is coming from the compressor due to system being a heat pump unit. Unit is heating correctly and working fine. Unfortunately the buzzing noise from the compressor is inevitable and compressor sounds healthy and normal. System is operational upon departure.
Low voltage wire repair and system testing
Performed diagnostic on a 2013 Maytag heat pump. Customer states taking many hours to raise a few degrees. System blowing cool air when itâ€™s cold outside. Refrigerant charge is ok. Found major burn marks on man control board. Heat strips were getting no voltage coming from the board. Replaced board under warranty. System was cycled with a good heating split. Heat strips are receiving proper voltage.
Upon arrival cleaned evap coil. Installed phenomenal aire. Installed customer supplied thermostat.
Performed service on a 2012 heat pump. Customer reports thermostat troubles, heat mode would turn on and off randomly. The thermostat would reset itself. When I checked the thermostat it was in Celsius and programmed for as conventional system. This has been doing this for quite some time. A new thermostat was installed and customer signed up for scheduled maintenance.
