arrived on site to diagnose a no heating unit. Client stated they heater is not blowing any hot air out and it’s just cold air. Cycled unit on and sequence of operation did not complete itself. Started testing parts. Found the pressure switch was not closing. Inducer motor would keep running until a lock out. Tested pressure switch and manually got it to close as I pulled air from switch. But inducer could not close switch. Traced back to ventilation. Checked b-vent for n furnace and roof. Found nothing was clogged up. Tested inducer pressure. Found it was not pulling enough to close switch. Removed b-vent to see if ventilation was issues and cycled and unit still didn’t close switch. Verified with manometer inducer was pulling 0.6 and pressure switch was rated for 0.65. Advised and verified with supervisor and he did stated inducer may just not pulling enough to close it. After running bad for so long pressure switch may have gotten weak and now just fail from it not turning on f

Arrived on site to see diagnose a no heating unit. Had another’s tech come out and checked everything and wanted to inspect b-vent on roof. He was unable to get get one the roof. Came out and inspect unit and found b-vent covered with soot. Found it not clogged up but dirty. Inspect heater and gas line. Asked client if she knew if she was on natural gas or propane and she stated she is on propane as this whole park is supplied propane. Found that unit did not have a propane kit installed. Due to that the unit may have ran for a short time but unit was not going to stay running properly due to fuel not burning properly. Advised office of findings and they are aware LP kit is missing. Advised client office will be ordering kit and will be getting warranty to come back out to replace igniter and install propane kit to unit. She is aware and okay with so. Office will call her once parts arrive to get her back on the schedule. She is aware and okay with so. Due to finding advise to not be

Arrived on site to perform diagnostic. Homeowner states that system is not heating. Cycled system for heating. Unit initiated heating cycle, but never ignited. Pulled out heating section and found that igniter was completely burnt up and the wires were also burnt. Everything was completely charred up. Replaced ignitor. Cycled system for heating. Unit kicked on and started heating. Flame is not burning correctly, and is rolling over and burning new ignitor. Verified that gas pressure is set correctly, set at 3.3inwc. Roof hood is completely charred up, indicating improper combustion. Flue needs to be checked at roof. Sending a smaller tech out due to weaker mobile home roof. System is not operational upon departure.

Performed combo tuneup on 2 year old Lennox furnace and 18 year old Carrier condenser. Indoor Unit: Cleaned return grate. Installed new merv 16 filter. Tested static pressure. Inspected blower compartment. Blower wheel is clean and balanced. Inspected electrical connections. Tested resistance of hot surface igniter. Inspected flame sensor. Found air scrubber catalyst to be out, Randy was notified of this. Temperature rise was within limits and temperature split is normal. Outdoor Unit: Performed deep cleaning of condenser coil fins and exterior unit. Inspected electrical components. Start contactor is clean, secondary motor control is within limits, however compressor start amps are high at 131 amps. A compressor saver kit was recommended. Refrigerant temperatures and pressures were normal. Upon departure system is operational.

Arrived on site to the Uli residence for a no heating warranty. After turning on the thermostat to the heating option the unit did not turn on, so I went ahead and turned the cooling side on to confirm the unit would still start. After confirming the unit does turn on I put it back to heat, and started checking the voltage coming through the wires. On the thermostat R to W had 30 V but for the board it was only receiving 5 V. I checked the transformer to confirm that it was getting the correct 24 V and it was, so after confirming there is power still coming to the unit my next assumption was to jump the thermostat out R to W to see if that made it work. After doing so, the system did turn on and began to heat. So that led me to believe it was a bad thermostat. After changing the thermostat out with a new Emerson thermostat the unit was fully operational and heating. Both heating and cooling we’re fully operational on time of departure.

When I arrived at unit, the fan motor wouldn’t spin or cool house. I first checked out fan amps and fan amps were good. Then I checked out motor control in system. Motor controls fan leg was dead and caused system to not work efficiently. I replaced motor control with new one and system took off. recommended a kickstart or new starter to system. Owner just wanted motor control today. Charging for motor control only.

Client stated ac not cooling -Multiple repairs need to be done to get this AC system properly up and running -Needs a secondary motor control, and a fan motor. A Contactor is recommended as it is extremely pitted and not making solid contact when energized. -Client wanted quote for the repairs to show home warranty -System is very old and is not operational

Client stated garage was getting cold due to a supply duct the previous owner put inside the garage which was taking air from elsewhere in the house -Technician removed duct that was cooling the garage and sealed the opening -Airflow was still not the best when all zones were open -Zone dampers were not able to be adjusted to provide better airflow to designated areas -Ducting is inaccessible unless we cut open drywall, so there is not much we can do about the way the Ducting is ran and what size they are -New zone dampers were recommended if airflow is still an issue even with the supply duct to the garage being removed -System was also completely sealed as the installers did not seal every party of the air handler -Filter was replaced as well

Arrived on site to perform diagnostic. Homeowner had called in stating that unit was not cooling. Upon arrival, homeowner states that system has been working without a problem since yesterday morning. On Friday they noticed that unit was not blowing as much air as it usually does, and also that it was as cold as it usually is. It ran all day and never got cold. They replaced the filter which was extremely dirty and still nothing. They turned the unit off all day Saturday and called us. Yesterday they kicked it on again since it was extremely hot and it has been working ever since but they would like for us to give it a look over. System was already cooling upon my arrival. Temperature split is within range. Checked outdoor unit electrical and components. Amp draws within range. Gauged up and verified proper refrigerant charge. Secondary motor control is within range. Checked inside unit electrical and components. System is cooling correctly and shows no concerns. It is very likely that

Arrived on site to perform AC diagnostic on 2008 train condensing unit. Upon arrival Greg stated that the system was installed in 2015 by his buddy which is no longer available for service. He stated that his buddy that was working on the unit found a leak inside the evaporator coil but never got back to him for pricing on it. Began diagnostic at condenser and found that it was significantly low on R410a charge. At this time electrical checked out OK. Temperature split was only 2° differential indicating that the system was indeed. Advised Greg that recharging the unit will only result in it being low again in a unknown period of time due to us not knowing how big the leak is or where it is exactly located. Greg did decline a leak dye injection into the system and would only like to charge it up for this one time only. Charged approximately 5 pounds of refrigerant into the system and found that there was a pre-filter and a 5 inch filter which is not recommended for the systems airflow

Performed Furnace diagnostic on 1985 RUUD heater. Upon arrival homeowner stated that the system was just maintained about a year ago and was told everything was OK. Now it appears at the system is working intermittently but they only really use it in the morning but the last two days it was nonfunctional. Began my troubleshooting and conducted a safety inspection on the furnace and found many points of concerns. 1. Furnace had shut down after about five minutes and found that filter inside of indoor blower cabinet was really blocked up with With Dust and debris due to it being a washable filter it needs to be cleaned out every month 2. Spark ignition box appears to not be sending power to spark igniter. Although does at certain times. 3. Indoor blower motor has oil leakage coming from its bearing and will lead to it locking up or overheating. 4. Airflow was measured on Furnace and found that it was 0.88 WC total which is heavily restricted for a furnace 5. Gas line also was directly r
