South Coast Air Quality Management District offers GO ZERO to encourage customers in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties to install zero-emission space and water heating appliances. These amazing devices not only provide the comfort you deserve at home, but have a much smaller environmental impact than a typical HVAC system or water heater.

What Rebates Are Available?
Through GO ZERO, you can receive the following rebates:
- For standard households: $1500 per residence
- For overburdened/disadvantaged communities: $3000 per heat pump system
What Are The Eligibility Requirements?
To qualify for GO ZERO, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must reside within South Coast AQMD jurisdiction
- Must replace gas or propane heating with an all-electric ENERGY STAR® heat pump
- An overburdened community status qualifies for higher rebates. See if you qualify
- Installations must occur in the jurisdiction of South Coast AQMD. See if you qualify
Applications are submitted via the GO ZERO online portal or in a mail-in form. Rebates are mailed to residence from South Coast AQMD.
